social networking for the wicked

The same themes seem to be coming up from the different groups. Time as an issue with adopting different technologies, also the level of skill needed in order to get the most out of a new technology.

But is this true? I sometimes wonder if the issues of "time" and "skill" are simply authentic sounding reasons?

This is so interesting, cos this also come up from my study, I was wondering about the issue of time and skills. Having the right level of skills and challenges is key to Flow according to Csikzentmihalyi. I'm not sure about the kind of 'time issue' we are talking about here, but from the pilot data I got, it seems that when people were facing with a deadline, there is certain kind of relationship between the time and skills, which will impact how people are getting on with the technology. verce versa with the time people spend on different technologies and the level of skills they get? I'm not sure, I was wondering, there possibally may be some relationships?
